Jixie multi-physics engine

A  Material Point Method (MPM) solver for VFX, animation and games

Built Into Bifrost

Our technology is built into Bifrost for use within Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max. Bifrost provides a unified visual programming experience where users can use our solver with procedural creation and other built in solvers.  (Currently CPU only)

Snow

Our solver is able to simulate the most detailed and physically accurate snow ever.  Harnessing the power of NVIDIA CUDA®, the wedge example simulates 8 times more particles 17 times faster than Stomakhin et al.[2013].  Our snow model has been verified against real world data in a collaboration with UCLA and EPFL.

Cloth Fabric

Cloth collision intensive scenarios involving millions of degrees of freedom run in only a few minutes per frame.  Our solver allows other materials to interact naturally with the cloth.

Knitted Fabric

Knitted garments can be simulated at the individual thread level.  The threads can tear and rip apart.

Sand

Our solver captures the intricate fluidized dynamics and static piling of sand. By using a sparse grid, the simulation is unbounded and the sand can spread out to cover the ground.
