A Material Point Method (MPM) solver for VFX, animation and games
Our solver is able to simulate the most detailed and physically accurate snow ever. Harnessing the power of NVIDIA CUDA®, the wedge example simulates 8 times more particles 17 times faster than Stomakhin et al.. Our snow model has been verified against real world data in a collaboration with UCLA and EPFL.
Cloth collision intensive scenarios involving millions of degrees of freedom run in only a few minutes per frame. Our solver allows other materials to interact naturally with the cloth.
Knitted garments can be simulated at the individual thread level. The threads can tear and rip apart.
Our solver captures the intricate fluidized dynamics and static piling of sand. By using a sparse grid, the simulation is unbounded and the sand can spread out to cover the ground.
